6 Things To Bring To Your Boudoir Session
WONDERING WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR BOUDOIR SESSION? THIS POST IS FOR YOU!
This list is only a list of suggestions, you can bring as many or as little of these items as you want. And of course, if you think of other unique items you’d like to incorporate into your shoot, bring those as well. It’s all about you!
LINGERIE
Bring it all! Your photographer can help you narrow down the pieces that flatter you the best. Keep in mind that you’ll probably only shoot in about 3-4 pieces, but have too many options is better than having too little options.
HEELS
Is this shoot a gift to your soon to be spouse? Consider bringing your wedding heels. Or, if this is a gift to yourself bring your favorite pair of heels or a pair you purchased specifically for your boudoir shoot. Regardless of the reason, a nice pair of heels goes perfectly with lingerie.
HIS SHIRT
Feel free to raid your lover’s closet. Button down dress shirts or flannels, sports jersey’s and even his favorite t-shirts, looks good in boudoir albums.
CHUNKY SWEATER
A nice chunky sweater with some cute undies (or none at all) pairs perfectly with a boudoir set. It adds a touch of the sexy winter cozy vibes to the photo. And if you make it a cropped sweater or an off the shoulder sweater it’ll add just that much more sexiness to it.
ROBE
Not your typical house robe, but a pretty silk or lace robe to go with your lingerie look. These are a fun accessory to add some spice to your photos. Wear it off the shoulders, showing the detail of your lingerie set, or wear it with nothing under giving a little tease.
JEWELRY
Engagement ring, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc. Just like with any outfit, accessories are what give an outfit that extra wow factor. If this is a bridal shoot or you’re going for a more classic classy feel, then throw in a long pearl necklace. This one accessory can be used in so many ways to add the ultimate OMG to your photos.
** BONUS ITEMS ** IF YOU ARE TAKING BOUDOIR PHOTOS FOR AN ANNIVERSARY OR WEDDINGS GIFT FOR YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER, CONSIDERING BRINGING:
WEDDING VEIL - If you are married or are getting married, veils can be a super fun addition to your shoot!
WEDDING GOWN - If you have one and you want to get a photo of it unzipped, or hanging on a hanger, or stepping into it (these are especially fun to do if you’re planning this boudoir session as a gift for your soon to be husband).
