KENYATTA DAVIS
Cincinnati Boudoir Photographer
◆I graduated from University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a minor in Accounting. Fun fact… I have never worked in a Marketing department and I absolutely loathe the accounting profession.
◆Shaving my head was kind of a choose but not really. I have alopecia that by the grace of God only affects the hair on my head. My hair does grow but dealing with the constant uncertainties of when it would decide to fall out led me to saying f*** it in April of 2023 and I shaved it. I have zero regrets about my decision. #baldheadlife
◆If there is a movie or show about vampires or witches, you can guarantee it will be on my list of shows that I have watched or plan on watching.
◆My family are definitely warm weather people. We practically hibernate in the winter and as soon as the forecast cracks 70 degrees, we’re ready to play. Our favorite summer attactivies are going to Kings Island and Cedar Point. We have season passes for both parks.
◆I am an autistic mama warrior. Our middle son is on the spectrum and is the sweetest kid ever. He is the sole reason why we have nicked named our tribe as the “Roller Coaster Family.” He knows every fact about every roller coaster that has ever existed in America.
◆I started my first photography business in January of 2020 with the goal to shoot 5 weddings before the end of the year. Even with Covid shutting down half the year I still managed to accomplish and exceed my goal. I shot weddings for 3 years before shifting my focus to boudoir and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.
◆When I’m not working with gorgeous women, I’m most likely planning some sort of travel adventure for my husband and I. We don’t get to travel as much as we’d like but when we do, we take advantage of every second of our time. In 2024, we are planning head back to Puerto Rico in June, Spain in October, and Universal Studios for Christmas with the kids.
◆I have always had an obsession with being surrounded by furry friends. Growing up, I never lived in a home without a dog. At one point we had 2 dogs, 5 guinea pigs (this was not done on purpose), 2 birds, and a rabbit. As an adult, I am slightly more tamed thanks to my husband. I have still never lived without a pet for more than a few months. Currently we have a dog, a cat, and a bearded dragon (once again, this was not done on purpose).
